My name is Patty, I have been involved with the fight against breast cancer for 19 years. At age 55 through a routine mammogram, my sister was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, my fight became personal.

She had a double mastectomy to stop cancer in its tracks. She opted out of reconstruction surgery. In 2026, she will celebrate her 9th year as a breast cancer survivor and has become a part of our wonderful team. She provides route support during our training walks keeping us hydrated and safe. I will continue walking as long as it is necessary to ensure an end to breast cancer.
